Can anyone recommend a good way to backup Android devices? Ideally I would like to do this wirelessly and, not only backup my data, but also my user settings. Is it possible to backup an image of an Android device - so that one doesn't even need to reinstall apps? It would be particularly useful to hear from users that have restored backups, as to how easy, and complete, their processes were. Thanks

Looking for something to remote control my Droid without having to root. To be clear, I am looking for full control over the computer (view on monitor, use mouse and keyboard for input).

I've had an iPod Touch for a while and am used to controlling the music player without having to take the device from my pocket. I've had a look around for headphones that will work with the Samsung Galaxy S's TRRS connector and for players that would work with those headphones but haven't seen any combination that looks like it would work. Is this achievable? I'm also happy to consider alternatives like Bluetooth if that would work.
