I have a TiVo Series 3 and the TiVo Desktop Plus software, which I use to convert shows for playback on my iPod Touch. I'd love to find a video player that would have 30 second/commercial skip for an Android phone (future purchase). It's hard for me to adjust the slider on the video player with that degree of precision.

Last week I installed an app that brings a lot of sounds with it in mp3 format and saves them on the SD Card to prevent the app from cluttering my internal memory. I'm using a Samsung Vibrant (Galaxy S) and when I play M4V video files, ostensibly formatted for IPhone, the device stretches the image to fit the screen rather than letterboxing. I can't find any option to change this. Is there a better media player or a hidden setting?
