Can I save a web page to my SD card with the stock android browser? I'm using an HTC Droid Eris, if that matters.

For example, the Barcode Scanner app takes up: Total: 0.96MB Application: 0.92MB Data: 40KB on the phone. When I move it to the SD Card, it changes to: Total: 524KB Application: 484KB Data: 40KB How come it changes?

If I connect an iPhone to a PC it is not possible to copy files between the PC and the iPhone. I would like to be able to do this because it would be useful. What happens if I connect an Android phone to a PC? Do I see it as a disk or is it similar to the iPhone?

I've seen mention of special folders on the SD card such as "ringtones" and "notifications" . What is the full list of special folders recognized by Android's (Froyo preferred) configuration and its standard apps?

I just got my 3rd Android phone, the problem is that I must reinstall all my applications every time I get a new phone. Is there any way to store the apps on the SD card so that I can insert the new card and all my apps are there? I would prefer solutions that don't require rooting the phone.

I have a G1 phone. I made a partition to install applications on the SD Card using Apps2SD. But I don't like it, I'd like to decouple the specific SD Card from being a requirement to using the phone. How do I undo Apps2SD? I'd like to have Apps only on the phone now.
