I want to be able to lock in or password protect the DNS settings to OpenDNS, so I can have a safe smartphone, that my kid can use with no fear of accessing pr0n or whatever. Anybody know if this is possible? I don't want to use another method of content filtering.

When I take a picture it makes a 'click' sound. As this is default behavior, I would like to turn it off. Is there a setting to do so; or if I find+delete the sound file, will there be repercussions? **Please note I am looking for a basically permanent solution rather than one that I would need to set/unset with each use of the app. I like the idea of a root solution, or an app solution; but for the …

I'm still adjusting from going from my iPod to an HTC Incredible phone. One thing that is very non-intuitive for me is to press the power button when I want to "wake up the phone" after it has dimmed out. I'm just so used to using the big button on the bottom of my iPhone for this that I instinctively hit the "optical joystick" button all the time by accident. Dolphin HD has an add-on called Dolphin Brightness that actually turns the screen's brightness down lower than the 0% setting in the Settings menu. Unfortunately, as soon as I leave Dolphin HD, it goes back to the stock brightness level. Is there anyway to dial the brightness level down like the …
