Is there a way to restart an Android device? Now I have to shut it down and manually turn it on again, but I'm looking for a solution where the whole process happens automatically. This might be device specific, mine is Samsung Galaxy S.
Occasionally (maybe twice a month) my Milestone just reboots (goes black and then to the Android startup screen (but not all the way to the Motorola screen)). I presume that such behaviour could be caused a poorly written app. I have uninstalled a few but to no avail. Several times a day I find out that my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is waiting for PIN entry, probably because of a soft reboot. It annoys me to no end, and I end up missing calls beacuse of this. Is there a tool or another way to help me find out what actually happened, when, and what caused that?
I wanted to reboot my HTC and it was shutting down for more than 10-15mins so I removed the battery... What can I do next time? Is that ok to be shutting down for ever? The mobile is almost new one. Not much stuff installed. Primarily used for web browsing.
