It's all in the title, but again for clarity: Is there any way to make my Motorola Droid use Landscape mode on the Home Screen without sliding out the keyboard?
On the bottom of the home screen there is an icon for EMail. I don't ever want to use the default Email app. I only use GMail and would rather use the Google GMail app. How do I change where the icon goes and how do I remove/disable the other app? at&t Captivate (Galaxy S) Android 2.1
I have an Evo running with very default settings. How can I force the home screen (Which I believe to be running Sense UI if I'm not confused) to be in landscape format. I use my kickstand all the time, and it's a pain to tilt my head to look at the home screen.
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make contact icons on the home screen update their picture when the contact's picture is changed, without needing to delete the shortcut and recreate it. Can this be done? Make the contact-shortcut's picture "live" as it were? e.g. some of my contacts are linked to Facebook and their pictures on their contact records sync as expected, but the shortcut on the home screen will still show whatever their picture was when …
Just wondering: is it possible to change the name which is displayed underneath the icons on the home pages ? I added some short cuts to internet pages on these pages, and they use way too long names . It would be nice if I could change them.
