I'm trying to add my Facebook account instead of using Facebook for HTC Sense. However, when I go to Accounts & sync > Add account > Facebook, nothing happens. If I tap any other account, I get prompted for login information (or, if I'm already logged in, the ability to change settings or add a second account). I really dislike the Facebook for HTC Sense, so there's got to be a way to add my Facebook account without using Facebook …
The Appbrain app is offering to update my Maps, Street View and Facebook app. In the Android Marketplace, I can't see any option to update (though I have never updated an app before so I don't know how the update would appear). I am wondering if this difference has something to do with HTC customisations. Should I allow Appbrain to update these applications or not?
I have HTC's people widget on one of my home screens. I like its functionality but sometimes when I touch a contact, another one gets selected. A completely different contact gets the green selection box and it starts to call them. With my luck this usually results in calling my parents at some ungodly hour. I've used touch visualizers to see if that area of my touch screen is having problems but all looks fine. The people widget is the …
I have an Evo running with very default settings. How can I force the home screen (Which I believe to be running Sense UI if I'm not confused) to be in landscape format. I use my kickstand all the time, and it's a pain to tilt my head to look at the home screen.
I've just got my phone upgraded to Android 2.1. It's a HTC Hero running HTC Sense. One of the features I was really looking forward to in Android 2.1 was the microphone button on the keyboard which you can use to dictate into any text field. However, this button doesn't seem to be there on the HTC Sense keyboard. Is there any way to enable this?
I have an HTC Hero (Europe) with Sense with used to run 2.1. A few days ago it said it wanted to update. I allowed it and now the SMS widget is missing. The widget on the startscreen that also has weather information is missing as well. How do I get those back?
These two (empty) calendars appear in the list of calendars inside the stock calendar app (at least on HTC Sense setups). I'm not entirely sure what they are but they are both unused and cluttering things up. I know I can hide them but is there anyway to just make them gone? When I select Remove Calendars, they don't show up in the list. Why would anyone want to sync a calendar to a PC anyway? That's the big advantage …
The default browser (at least on HTC Sense) has this annoying habit of sliding the address bar down over the top portions of websites while the page is loading. After the page loads, the address bar is still there but it doesn't cover anything anymore. This is particularly annoying on sites like stackoverflow where it perfectly covers the top navigation area. Any way to make it stop? More Information: I wasn't aware of this before but this behavior is due …
I have a contact with no contact details, apart from a name and which can't be deleted. The option just doesn't appear in the context menu like for other contacts. Is it possible to delete this contact?
I've seen people crop off part of a widget to make it take up less space. Is there any readily-available way to do this on an HTC phone with Sense (Droid Incredible, to be specific)?
Possible Duplicate: When will my phone get Android 2.2 (FroYo)? I am using an HTC Wildfire on the Rogers Canada network, and I purchased the phone on eBay from Germany. HTC tech support informed me that when Germany releases the 2.2 update it will be available over the air for my phone. Does anyone have an idea when we can expect this update to be available? Will there be any issues with Sense and my installed applications and data when …
Often when I return to the home screen from using an app, the HTC Sense UI (running 2.1) restarts. It seems to be worse when more apps are running. Does it shutdown to free memory, is there a stability problem or something else?
Since I upgraded my Incredible to Android 2.2, Froyo, the HTC Sense UI has been crashing often, but always when I am in an app. In other words, sometimes when I exit an app, I see that the Sense launcher is restarting. Anyone know why that is happening and/or how I can fix it?
In HTC Sense you get a little widget that indicates that you have USB connectivity to a computer and lets you change the mode (charge/storage/etc) is there a similar tool that is not part of HTC Sense which can run in LauncherPro?
