Is there a way to use my android device as a bluetooth USB dongle without rooting it?

Any thoughts on how to resolve the "USB not supported" error my vehicle (Honda Pilot) displays when I connect the phone (Galaxy S Captivate) via the USB jack? Thanks in advance!

How can I copy a file into micro SD of an Android phone connected via USB to a PC with Windows?
